{"id":413,"date":"2025-06-21T18:21:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-21T18:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kayspage.com\/?p=413"},"modified":"2025-06-21T18:37:06","modified_gmt":"2025-06-21T18:37:06","slug":"final-weekly-summary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kayspage.com\/?p=413","title":{"rendered":"Final Weekly Summary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During this class I learned how storytelling isn\u2019t just about words on a page &#8211; it\u2019s about the blend of visual, digital, audio, and video elements coming together to create something emotionally powerful and personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visual Storytelling: I learned how design choices like color, framing, composition, and font can change the entire mood of a story.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital Storytelling: Digital tools allowed me to build stories that could move, link, and interact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audio Storytelling: One of the biggest lessons I took away from audio storytelling was how sound can shape emotion. Whether it was background music, voiceover pacing, or sound effects, I learned how to use audio to immerse people in a story without needing any visuals at all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video Storytelling: Video was the ultimate mix of everything: sight, sound, motion, emotion. I learned how much thought goes into sequencing clips, matching music, and choosing transitions that don\u2019t distract from the message.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>My favorite project was the &#8220;Where Do You Want To Go?&#8221; assignment. I really enjoy travel and so I was able to fantasize for a little bit during this project. I was able to talk about some of my favorite things involving music and food, but I also learned new things about the culture as I went along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I could take the class over, I\u2019d spend more time in the planning stages of my projects. I realized late in the semester how much smoother the process is when I have a clear storyboard or idea, rather than figuring it out as I go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <a href=\"https:\/\/kayspage.com\/?page_id=385\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kayspage.com\/?page_id=385\">final project<\/a>, I was able to combine everything I had learned during this class. I had a lot of creative freedom and really committed to the concept. This class has been fulfilling and I enjoyed doing this one last project!
