Spider-Man, also known as Peter Parker, isn’t just a superhero. Beneath the mask is a young man juggling school, life, and a secret identity—all while saving New York City from chaos. Most of Peter’s days start normal: early morning, cereal in a rush, and throwing on his favorite hoodie—but today, the hoodie hides more than bedhead. Underneath? The Spider-Man suit.
It’s because someone, somewhere, might need help. A missing cat. A pickpocket on the loose. Even when the sky is blue and nothing seems wrong, he has to be on the look-out.
New York City: Spider-Man’s iconic hometown. In the city, you can hear taxis honking, the chatter of busy sidewalks, and the hum of the subway. Here’s a map of Queens, NY, where Peter Parker grew up and where much of the story begins:

Peter Parker has a lot on his plate, but he still finds the time to help others. Balancing school, relationships, and his secret life as Spider-Man isn’t easy, but he does it because he believes it matters.
