Let me introduce you to the traveler behind this dream — me! I was first drawn in by K-pop and K-dramas. As my curiosity deepened, I stumbled upon a group called BTS. They’re actually huge not just in Korea, but everywhere, so I’m not sure what took me so long to discover them. I became a big fan because their music felt honest and different. As I got more into their music, I became more curious about where they come from. I started learning more about Korean culture, food, and language.
If you’re curious enough to check them out, my favorite songs are “Fake Love” and “Outro: Wings.” The second link is a stage mix of live performances; their live vocals are insane!
South Korea is a country where modern skyscrapers and neon lights sit right next to ancient temples and peaceful palaces. From the buzzing streets of Seoul to the coastal beauty of Busan, there’s something for every kind of traveler.

South Korea has a captivating way of weaving together its timeless traditions with bold, futuristic innovation, creating a rhythm of culture and color. Now, I want to visit South Korea not just because I’m a BTS fan, but because their music sparked an interest in a whole culture I didn’t know much about before. I’d love to walk around Seoul, visit places I’ve seen in videos, try the food, and just experience it for myself.
