#1: 5/23/25: Use the Random Moon Name Generator to find a moon in our solar system, and then do something creative with your lunar discovery — draw a picture of the moon, share an interesting fact, write a poem, compose a story….
My response: I got Jupiter’s carpo. One interesting fact about this moon is that Carpo has an inclination of about 54 degrees, meaning its orbit is significantly tilted relative to Jupiter’s equator. It also has an eccentric orbit, which means it travels in a stretched-out ellipse rather than a near-perfect circle. #tdc4879 #ds106
#2: 5/24/25: Record and share a sound happening in your local environment.
My response: It’s quite windy today. I can hear the trees rustling and leaves falling in my backyard. #tdc4880 #ds106
#3: 5/25/25: It’s probably too big of a task to make one from scratch for today’s Daily Create – although we’d love it if you did. Instead, why not visit Hello Cyanometer and browse though the images there, then remix one into something to share with us.
My response: I picked an image from the site where the sky was a soft, powdery blue, somewhere around shade 24 on the cyanometer. #tdc4881 #ds106
